Rockefeller, one of America’s founding fathers of business, once stated that the ability to get along with people is a purchasable a commodity as sugar and coffee and that one’s success in business depends in a large part on social skills. Business Etiquette, focuses on appropriate rules, strategies and guidelines for expressing respect for all peoples and establishing positive business relationships.
Content Objectives
While completing Business Etiquette, participants will learn about the:
- Language and behavior to establish rapport;
- Guidelines for effective business interactions;
- Art of conversation;
- Strategy for becoming an ego-supporter;
- Procedure for introducing people;
- Basics of dining etiquette; and
- Importance of intercultural communication.
Materials
Business Etiquetteutilizes an interactive structure with six sections (Multimedia Presentation, Readings, Questions & Answers, Resources, Implementation, and Respond). Engaging audio and visual components as well as printable materials are incorporated into the course. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded.

Business Etiquetteis designed for business professionals who want to master appropriate and respectful behaviors for interacting with colleagues, supervisors, and customers.

Reading, Exercises, Implementation Plan, and Quiz.
