In a recent Gallup poll, ninety percent of the population said they experienced stress at work on a daily basis while sixty-three percent of employees said that they were suffering from high stress. In addition, seventy-five percent of Americans stated that stress was preventing them from enjoying their lives more. In addition, job stress in lost productivity, accidents, absenteeism, and medical insurance costs American businesses approximately 300 billion dollars annually. The bottom line is that stress has become a national epidemic. This course, Managing Pressures & Stress, focuses on specific steps that will assist you in reducing your stress.
